Biology, University of Alabama, 1990 B.A. Environmental Studies, University of Florida, 1985           EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY     I believe that every student has the potential to make a difference in society and that it is the job of the instructor to guide them. In fact, the more difficult the student - the greater reward. If all else fails, however, send them to Swamp School.           CURRENT PROJECTS     Industrial Effects on Ecosystem Development Several professors and I researching the effects of fast food chains on the the ecological development of plants and the North American Wind Whisper Beetle. S.W.A.M.P. (Students With A Messy Portfolio) I currently advise student leaders in an organization that helps to prepare students for work after graduation.           INTERESTS     I enjoy elephant-back riding, long walks on the beach and Irish poetry.
