CURRENT PROJECTS

Teaching and Learning with Technology
My educational technology text, Teaching and Learning with Technology, published by Allyn and Bacon, is in its third edition.  This text is for use in education courses and  teacher training workshops and has been adopted for EME 2040 here at Miami Dade and at colleges and universities across the nation.

On-Line Learning Initiatives
As one of the founders of the Virtual College and currently a professor teaching in this format, I am working to expand distance learning offerings in computer applications and education.

I am also helping create departmental blended course offerings in the area of Computer and Information Systems.

Earth Ethics Institute
The Earth Ethics Institute supports and promotes earth literacy.  As one of the Core Faculty and the Homestead Campus contact, I am involved in helping my campus colleagues develop a personal awareness of earth literacy and "green" their curriculum accordingly.
