Miami Dade College and the National Science Foundation are offering scholarships with a maximum amount of $4,600 per academic year to students with unmet financial need (as established by federal guidelines) pursuing degrees in the biological sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, computer and information sciences, the geosciences, and engineering. 

The National Science Foundation (NSF), established in 1950, promotes and advances scientific progress in the United States.   It is committed to ensuring the nation’s supply of scientists, engineers, and science educators by enabling individuals to pursue technical careers.  

 

Miami Dade College (MDC) shares this commitment and is sponsoring Windows of Opportunity for students are interested in furthering their education in these disciplines.  Students participating in the program will benefit from a full range of intensive and customized student services such as tutoring, advisement, and career counseling, as well as specially designed enrichment and motivational activities.
