                 I hope this magazine has served to inspire many of you to pursue your passions for writing, photography or graphic arts and that it has provided you a place to display your work.  As you look forward to next year, do not forget to reflect on this past one.  Celebrate your accomplishments and your failures, for they have made you stronger and wiser.  Use all that you have learned to plan your path to future successes.   Continue to challenge yourselves and seek greatness always.                                                                                                                        Many of you have received awards, scholarships and noteworthy recognitions this year because you pursued the possibilities and turned them into reality.   You made choices, struggled, overcame and conquered.  I believe you achieve great things when you expect great things of yourselves and those around you.                                                                   Best wishes to all of you this holiday season.  May you surround yourselves with the love of your family and friends, and may the new year bring  you great prosperity, health and joy.   Most importantly, strive to make  every day of your life extraordinary!

God Made Me!

Yasmin Moses

Who are you to mock me ?

Who are you to hurt me ?

Why is it when you see me you are afraid?

   I  am different because God made me!

You see me pass you by,yet you wonder why I don’t  talk or even say hi .

Your impression of me is that of a typical human being .

You stare at me as if I was a grotesque person.

   God made me.

So What if I can’t see, hear, walk or learn as fast as you can?

Just because of my discrepancies, you wont change me into something I am not!

You see I may be a little different, but no more different than the person next to you or behind is different.

   God made me.

If you cannot accept me for who I am, then just make sure you respect me just because I am  someone’s friend.
