EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

I believe that all students must take responsibility for their learning. They can and will achieve their goals and objectives with hard work, a positive attitude, determination, and persistence. My role is to teach effectively and identify students' individual needs and facilitate learning for all students.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Florida Nursing Students Association (FNSA)
I am one of the faculty advisors for FNSA. The Student Nurses Association at MDC is a District Chapter of FNSA.

Project MÁS
I participated in Project MÁS (Maximizing Access & Space). This Title V Grant encourages faculty to use technology in their classes.

Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida (HANA)
I am the Immediate Past President of the Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida, Inc. (HANA)(2005-2007) whose mission is to unite nurses to share their knowledge and discuss issues that are relevant to the welfare of the community.

Take Stock in Children
I served as a mentor in Take Stock in Children.

INTERESTS
