    EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
 
Math is a language, that when learned, can wield great power.  Mastering even simple mathematics can make our lives easier.  To learn math starts with wanting to learn math.  I love math ... and science and art, and I try to convey that passion to my students.

 
     
    CURRENT PROJECTS
    Experimenting with ways to increase the use of technology in the classroom. Including producing a set of basic but elegant graphs using Wolfram Research's Mathematica, and working toward the use of a wireless tablet in my lectures.
    INTERESTS
    Art, Sculpture, Rock Climbing, Sailing, Woodwork, Photography, Fine Tools, Electricity, Audio, Landscaping, etc....I like it all
