My philosophy of education is that I have learned that every student, regardless
of his or her background, race, disability, etc., who has the desire and
will to learn should be given my undivided attention and support in an
effort to help them achieve his or her goals.
believe that a safe, open, caring and supportive environment is an
essential element in the education of others. I also believe that
education and learning to explore the world of mathematics extend far
beyond the walls of the classroom and into the everyday lives of students
at home. Without diversity in knowledge and teaching, stagnation can occur,
producing individuals who are less productive and less successful in
provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. It is my
desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential.
Also, one of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my
students, as I share my own passion for learning with them. I feel
there is a need for compassionate, strong, and dedicated individuals who
are excited about working with students. In our competitive society
it is important for students to not only receive a solid education, but to
work with someone who is aware of and sensitive to their individual
needs. I am such a person and will always strive to be the best educator
that I can be.
