Nowadays, who can claim to have a successful life without having a good education? In this 21st century, lot of people are aware of the importance of the education whether they are adults or young people. Recently, a magazine has reported that there is an increase of 25 in the level of people who attend college or university. So Why do people attend college or university? People attend college or university because of the competion to be the best in the employment market, the desire to get a better pay at work, and the feeling to get the respect of other people. First of all, people attend college or university because of the competition to be the best in the employment market. For example, when you have to present to an interview for an employment, if you don't have the knowledge required, you may loose your chance to be selected. Also, some employment request the level of college or university to get some job. So if you are a high school graduate only, there is no way to get this job. Secondly, the desire to get a better pay at work is a reason why people attend college or university.. According to some researchers, the person who gets the most level of education should get the best job. Another example is that, if there are two positions available in an office with the same duty, the person who spent more year at school will get more money. Another reason why people attend college or university is the feeling to get the respect of the others. For instance, most of the time people who get a great level of education are well respected wherever they are. Other people respect them because they know that this person went at school for many years or has a diploma. In conclusion, we can say that people attend college or university for many reasons depending on the person. They are aware of their needs so they choose to attend college or university in order to get ready for the competion in the market, to get a better pay at work, and to get some respects form other people.
