Model Travel Essay

Individuals take many different types of vacations. The sort of vacation that an individual takes is subject to many variables, including budgets, desires, and time. In addition, few people take a vacation alone, so the type of vacation that they take and where they travel to is something that must be discussed with their fellow traveler. Once all of these variables are calculated, a person can proceed to travel and have the perfect vacation.

The first consideration before traveling on a vacation is usually the budget. The budget will usually determine the mode of transportation. For the budget conscience traveler, usually traveling by car or bus is the most economical means of travel. If a person has a little more money, then the transportation options are more open. They can then consider traveling by train or plane to their vacation destination. For the truly affluent traveler, going by luxury liner or cruise ship can also be an option.

Secondly, a person must choose a location for the vacation. Some people want to travel to an exotic beach. Others want to take a cruise ship and voyage to islands. Some want to be a tourist in Europe or South America. Yet others wish to travel to mountain ranges and climb them or explore a rain forest. Some travelers want to travel within the United States, while others want to go to foreign destinations on their journeys.

Finally, there is the time consideration. Some people get long vacations, perhaps as long as 8 weeks. Others have only 10 days to cram in a lot of traveling for a vacation. Some people try to arrange their vacation to coincide with their children’s vacation time so that they can go as a family vacation, perhaps to Disney World or another family-oriented destination.

In conclusion, planning a perfect vacation is subject to a variety of constraints. The budge will help determine the mode of transportation. Time will determine how long the vacation is. The individual traveler will determine where the vacation destination is going to be. Finally, who the traveler is traveling with on vacation will determine when and where the vacation takes place.
