Every day millions of people greet each other by saying peace. Every New Year people wish each other peace. In places of religious worship, peace is on the lips of all. But peace on earth is just another side of war on earth. Peace involves harmony, love, and people getting along with each other. War involves killing, bombs, and destruction.
War is as old as history: civil wars, world war 1, world war 2, and currently, afghanistan and iraq. Peace is usually common within families, but not always. We live in a time of wartime, warfare, and wargames. Peace, pacifism, and harmony are rare. Still all people wish for peace, even while they are fighting their wars.
