Contest Winners! |
In March, 2008, a library science student research contest was held. The contestants researched databases and wrote brief essays answering questions regarding the use of science databases and resources offered by the library. Five students won scholarships to Miami Dade College in amounts ranging from $600 to $2,000.
Elizabeth Louis, the grand prize winner was awarded an internship at the National Agriculture Library in Beltsville, Maryland. She created a presentation on her experience and research.
