Workshop Information |
A faculty development workshop was held February 1, 2008. 9 Miami Dade College faculty members and 19 Miami-Dade County Public High School Faculty Members attended. The workshop trained them in the use and availability of library science resources. Surveys of participants were conducted, 82% of participants reported workshop enabled them to identify and use the library science resources effectively. Workshop participants produced Lesson plans that taught their students how to utilize the research methods taught in the workshop. Master Plan Points and Professional Development Credit was awarded to workshop participant who completed the workshop and lesson plans.
