EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
If one is to embrace life
long learning, one should be responsible for their own learning. As
the teacher, my role is to inspire the student that what s/he is
learning has personal relevance and will play an important role in
their overall education. Students should matriculate with ability
to think critically, write clearly and speak forcefully. The
exercise of learning mathematics is one of learning to solve
problems in a logical, systematic way. I always encourage my
students that the exercise in logical thinking they undertake to
solve mathematical problems can be used in all facets of their
life. The process of learning and self discovery should be joyful,
I work to infuse my classroom with a spirit of excitement for this
process.
