Biographical Information

I was born in Kingston, Jamaica and I moved to South Florida in 1979. I enrolled in Miami Dade Community College, and I've never really left here. I've worked as a peer-tutor in the Writing Lab, a paraprofessional, adjunct instructor, instructor, and associate professor in the English Department.

I have taught ENC1101, ENC1102 and LIT 2480. My familiarity with the content of each of these related courses and his knowledge of the academic needs of college students in general should prove useful in helping to guide you successfully toward your academic goal this semester. All writing courses require a great deal of interaction in the classroom and calls for constant writing practice. In other words, writing requires hard work and diligence. To be successful, you must be ready and willing to take part in rigorous learning activities
