RECOMMENDATIONS

To complete this course successfully, I recommend you dedicate a minimum of 3 hours a week outside of class.  Don’t procrastinate.  Plan your schedule now.  Your assignments include reading, writing and reviewing material in preparation for exams. You will participate in a few group projects, so you need to schedule time outside of class to meet with your group members.   If you do not have access to a computer, you also need to schedule time at the Computer Courtyard or at your local library.

Take notes, find a study partner and exchange phone numbers with other students.

If you have questions or concerns early in the semester or later on in the term, do not hesitate to ask me.  Stop by my office during my office hours, or send me an email or a phone message.  Whatever you do, do not “assume” or “guess” your way through this course.  I welcome questions and confusion, for as Michael J Gelb once said, “Confusion is the welcome mat at the door of creativity.”

Do not allow your fear to keep you from accomplishing great things.
