Preparing for the presentation
You will work alone on this presentation.
Choose one short poem.
Gather information about the poet. (Remember to credit your sources) Create a Work Cited Slide
If you are NOT familiar with Power Point, go to the Computer Courtyard and practice using the program before you begin your assignment.

The presentation
You will present "alone."
Read the Rubric and use it to prepare your presentation.
Presentation should be no more than 5 minutes.
Provide background information on the poet, analyze the poem, and provide images (photos or videos) as well as sounds.
Involve the audience by designing an interactive presentation.
Allow your creativity to flourish.
Organize your presentation carefully and if possible practice in front of a small audience.
