National Student Loan Data System for Students (NSLDS)

The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) is the U.S. Department of Education's (ED's) central database for student aid. NSLDS receives data from schools, guaranty agencies, the Direct Loan program, and other Department of ED programs. NSLDS Student Access provides a centralized, integrated view of Title IV loans and grants so that recipients of Title IV Aid can access and inquire about their Title IV loans and/or grant data.

1.8 Million Pages of Federal Case Law to Become Freely Available

Public.Resource.org and Fastcase, Inc. announced that they will release a large and free archive of federal case law, including all Courts of Appeals decisions from 1950 to the present and all Supreme Court decisions since 1754.  The archive will be public domain and usable by anyone for any purpose.  The case law will be available in early 2008 via http://www.altlaw.org and http://www.law.cornell.edu
