I believe that every student has the potential to make a difference in society and that it is the job of the instructor to guide them.  I see myself as the facilitator that assists the student in understanding and developing his/her God given talents.
     
    BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
 
Mr. Michael J. Walton is the senior instructor in the CIS department at Miami-Dade College – North Campus.  During his 39 plus years of teaching software development and most recently Microsoft networking, he has always strived to provide his students with real-world application of the concepts presented in his lectures.  He holds a M.S. in Computer Education from Barry University and is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) in Windows 2000 Networking.  As lead instructor in the MCSE training program at North Campus, he is committed to providing quality education training for both professionals desiring to upgrade their skills and for the new student desiring to become a networking professional.
     
    INTERESTS
 
I enjoy playing tennis, photography, fishing, computer games, gardening, music and reading.  Spending precious time with my family, even though my children are grown up, is very important.
