Welcome to the first edition of Connections, the online newsletter from the ESL & Foreign Language Department of the Kendall Campus, Miami Dade College.

As the editor of this bimonthly publication, I encourage you to browse through the articles listed on the left menu and learn about our programs, faculty, labs, and projects.  You will find everything from teaching tips to advice columns and technical advice.

This first issue of Connections has been possible thanks to the enthusiastic support of Judith García, the technical support of CT&D, and the articles submitted by faculty and staff.

I invite everyone to contribute to our next issue, which will be coming out in January 2004.
